Why go now
Dubai has two completely different personalities. From May to September it is 42–48 °C and everything happens inside a mall. From late October the temperature drops into the low thirties, the beach clubs and desert camps open, outdoor dining restarts, and Global Village opens for the season. The same trip in November costs less and delivers three times as much, because you can actually be outside.

Four nights covers Dubai properly. Five lets you add a full day in Abu Dhabi without rushing. Six or more only makes sense if you are doing theme parks with children, in which case budget a day each for IMG, Motiongate or Atlantis Aquaventure.
It can be, but it does not have to be. Hotels in Deira and Bur Dubai are a third of Marina prices and the metro connects everything. The costs that escalate are attractions, taxis and alcohol. A four-night trip on a sensible plan runs ₹52,000–75,000 per person; the same trip booked carelessly runs double.
Easier than in most Indian cities. Karama and Bur Dubai are effectively Indian neighbourhoods, and every hotel does an Indian breakfast. Jain and satvik food is available at several restaurants — we list them with the itinerary.
