Why go now
The mountain is the whole point, and for most of the year you cannot see it. The monsoon leaves cloud sitting on the ridgeline through summer, and by late December haze from the plains rolls in. October and November are the two months when the air is washed clean and Kanchenjunga is visible from Tiger Hill at dawn on most mornings rather than one in five. Add Durga Puja and Diwali lighting up the hill towns and it is the region's best month.

Questions
If yours is not here, call or WhatsApp us — the desk answers, not a bot.
Nobody can promise a mountain. What we can say is that October and November have historically the highest clear-morning rate of the year, and our itineraries put you in two separate viewpoints on different mornings — Tiger Hill and Pelling — so a single cloudy dawn does not cost you the sighting.
Kalimpong adds a comfortable day and works well. Lachung and Yumthang need two extra nights and a North Sikkim permit, and the road is rough — worth it in October when the valley is still green, less so once it turns bare. We price both as add-ons on the call.
The two-hour Darjeeling–Ghum joyride, yes. The full eight-hour NJP run, only if trains themselves are your interest — it is slow, cold and the road covers the same ground in three hours. We book the joyride by default and the full run on request.
