Why go now
Meghalaya has an obvious trap: the waterfalls everyone comes for only run in the monsoon, but the monsoon also closes roads and makes the root-bridge treks genuinely dangerous. September through November is the narrow overlap — Nohkalikai and Seven Sisters are still thundering off the plateau, Dawki's river has cleared to that famous glass green, and the Double Decker descent is walkable rather than a mudslide.

Questions

Early November is still good; by December the smaller falls thin out noticeably and Nohkalikai loses much of its width. If waterfalls are your main reason for going, book a September or October window. If root bridges and Dawki are the priority, November is arguably better because visibility is best and crowds have thinned.
Yes, and it is the most common extension we build. Kaziranga reopens for safaris around the start of November after the monsoon closure, so a 4-night Meghalaya plus 2-night Kaziranga loop out of Guwahati works well in the November windows. Mention it on the call and we will price both together.
Everything except the Double Decker descent is easy walking. That one trek needs the ability to manage roughly two hours of continuous stairs downhill and three back up. We run itineraries with and without it, and switching is free up to 48 hours before departure.
