What we collect
- Contact details you type in: name, mobile number, email address and departure city.
- Trip details: the destination and departure window you selected, party size, and anything you write in the notes field.
- Payment confirmation from Cashfree — the order reference, amount and status. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials.
- Standard technical data your browser sends: IP address, user agent and referring page. The IP address is hashed before it is used for rate limiting and is not stored with your booking.
- For confirmed international trips only: passport details required by the airline, hotel or consulate.
Why we hold it
To call you back about the enquiry you made, to price and book your trip, to issue tickets and vouchers in the correct names, to process refunds to the right account, and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a travel business in India.
We do not use your number for marketing about unrelated destinations unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
- Cashfree Payments, to process your ₹500 booking fee.
- The airlines, hotels, transport operators and local partners delivering your specific trip — and only the details each of them actually needs.
- Consulates and visa processing centres, where your itinerary requires a visa.
- Our email host, for the confirmation and alert emails described above.
- Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we run no third-party advertising pixels on this site.
How long we keep it
- Callback requests that do not become bookings: 12 months.
- Booking records: 8 years, as required for tax and audit purposes.
- Passport details: deleted within 90 days of your return.
- Email correspondence: 3 years.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email booking@travelaidnow.com from the address on your booking and we will respond within 30 days.
You can opt out of any non-essential message from us at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or telling the agent on the call.
