Why go now
Between June and September the Bay of Bengal churns, inter-island ferries get cancelled at short notice, and underwater visibility drops to a few metres. From late October the sea settles, the catamarans run to schedule, and visibility at Havelock climbs back past twenty metres. November through February is the reliable window — and November is the cheapest month of it, before the Christmas surge doubles resort rates on Havelock.

Questions
If yours is not here, call or WhatsApp us — the desk answers, not a bot.
Yes. A discovery dive is done holding an instructor, at around 8–10 metres, and needs no swimming ability. A certification course does require basic water confidence and a 200 m swim. We book whichever you want with PADI-registered operators only — the unregistered boats on Havelock are cheaper and are not worth it.
Five nights minimum: one in Port Blair, three on Havelock, one on Neil. Anything shorter and the ferry days eat the trip. Seven nights lets you add Baratang's limestone caves or a slower pace on Havelock, which most people prefer.
For beaches and diving at this price, yes — Radhanagar holds its own against anything in the Maldives and the diving is comparable. What you do not get is the private-island, overwater-villa experience, which the Maldives does and Andaman does not. If that specific fantasy is the point of the trip, Andaman will disappoint you and we would rather say so now.
